Moody's Investors Service has assigned a definitive Baa2 rating to the USD 750 million 3.250% senior unsecured notes due 2019, USD 750 million 4.625% senior unsecured notes due 2024 and Euro 525 million 2.750% senior unsecured notes due 2021 issued by ONGC Videsh (OVL) and guaranteed by parent Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC).
The outlook on the rating is stable.
Shares of the company gained Rs 6.30, or 1.57%, to trade at Rs 408.60 at the BSE (12.01 p.m., Tuesday).
